Two women have said they were followed and inappropriately touched by a man while shopping at a TK Maxx store.
The alleged sexual assaults happened on Monday, December 1, at the store in The Oracle shopping centre in Reading.
A man entered the store where he then allegedly began following following a number of women around while they shopped.
The then inappropriately touched a woman in her 20s in the shop, police have said before approaching another woman and touching her before fleeing when she confronted him.
Thames Valley Police said in a statement: “At around 3pm last Monday (1/12), a man was seen following a number of females in TK Maxx in The Oracle.
“The same man inappropriately touched the first victim, a woman in her twenties, in the store.
“The offender then inappropriately touched a second victim, a woman in her twenties, and when she confronted him, the man quickly left the store.”
The force is asking for information on the man as well as for the first woman he allegedly touched to come forward.
Investigating officer, Police Staff Daniel Peters said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises this man, or if it is you to please contact us as soon as possible as we think this man may have information to assist our investigation.
“We are also appealing for the first victim who was inappropriately touched to come forward so that we can speak to them and make sure they are ok. We also think they may be able to assist our investigation.
