Former overseas teacher hopes to bring international academic methods to school board

A former teacher with experience teaching domestically and overseas said she would bring in education methods from other countries to raise local academic achievement if elected to the Frederick County school board.

Shelley Potter said she started her career in education as a volunteer in eastern Europe in 2007.
