Garden centre staff have experienced a nightmare before Christmas after their beautifully decorated tree was stolen by a mean grinch.
The team at the Suffolk Plant Centre, in Main Road, Pettistree, near Woodbridge, came in on Saturday morning to find the 16-foot tree had been nabbed overnight.
The centre's tree had been up only a few weeks with three men using a forklift truck to put the tree up on Thursday, November 27.
Harriet Lawton, who manages the shop, said: "I feel shocked and can't believe that someone would take a Christmas tree.
"I'm in disbelief. We put the tree out every year to let people know we're here, as it's a visual sight from the busy road.
"Also, as an offer to the community, but it's now gone.
