Two people have been charged with administering a noxious substance after 21 people were injured at Heathrow airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have each been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance after travellers were ‘gassed’ inside a car park lift.
Five people were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
The incident sparked the halting of all train services to and from the airport, with road services also paused as armed police were seen searching inside queues of vehicles.
London Ambulance Service said they cared for 21 patients in total,
