Police in Mzuzu kg have arrested a 19-year-old woman, Sandra Nyirongo, for allegedly stabbing her husband to death following a domestic dispute.

Mzuzu Police spokesperson Augustus Nkhwazi confirmed about the incident saying that it happened last night at Mchengautuba in Mzuzu. The couple is reported to have quarrelled after the husband accused Nyirongo of being involved with other men.

According to Nkhwazi, the argument intensified, leading Nyirongo to allegedly grab a knife and stab her husband in the neck, resulting in his death.

Nyirongo, who comes from Mtwalo Village under Traditional Authority Mtwalo in Mzimba, is expected to appear in court soon to answer a murder charge.
