A litter of puppies has found their forever homes in time for Christmas after their mum was found pregnant and wandering alone beside a busy dual carriageway.
Buttons, Freddo, Crunchie, Caramac and Rolo were born at the Blue Cross centre in Bourne Hill in Wherstead, near Ipswich, earlier this year.
In August their mum, who was pregnant with them at the time, was found by a member of the public walking alongside the A414 dual carriageway near Hatfield in Hertfordshire on the August bank holiday.
She was later transferred to the Wherstead centre where staff named the 11-month-old patterdale terrier Wispa, and when her pups were born just a month later, they continued the theme by naming them after well-known chocolate bars.
