Michigan House Speaker Matt Hall and House Republicans have asked the Michigan Supreme Court to reverse a previous ruling ordering the presentation of nine stalled bills from the previous legislative session.

An appeal filed Monday, Dec. 8 by attorneys for the House argues the Michigan Court of Appeals erred when it ruled in October that the House must send the legislation to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer for consideration.
