Area residents are asked to give an extra hand for the holidays to several people who lost their homes in an early morning fire on Nov. 30 at a Friar Road condominium complex.
The city of Stow, in conjunction with the Stow Fire Department, is collecting monetary donations and gift cards to support the families, according to a social media post from city officials. Donations can be placed in the firefighter’s boot through Dec. 15 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Stow City Hall lobby, 3760 Darrow Road. Monetary donations and gift cards are the only donations accepted.
