100 Years Ago, 1925: Extensive alterations, improvements, and additions will be made in the near future in the banking home of the Chester National Bank on Market Street above Fifth. The contract will be awarded this week. The improvements will cost approximately $30,000. A two-story addition will be added to the rear of the present structure. The main banking room will be rearranged and will contain new teller cages and up-to-date banking facilities, including up-to-date mechanized equipment for bookkeeping and similar work.
