Syracuse, N.Y. — Casey Rogers is back in the National Football League where it all started.

Rogers, a former 3-sport star at Westhill High School in Syracuse, has signed with the New York Giants according to a report from NFL Insider Jordan Schultz.

Rogers spent some time with the New York Giants practice squad and was on the active roster earlier this season, but was waived in May.

He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants in 2024.

Rogers, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound defensive lineman, participated in Buffalo Bills training camp and preseason workouts before being cut in September .

Rogers began his college football career at Nebraska in 2018 before transferring to Oregon in 2022. He made 97 tackles and three sacks over the course of four seasons.
