COLUMBUS, Ohio — Worthington Road between Africa Road and Acorn Farms in Delaware County is closed due to an emergency gas leak.

The Delaware County Engineer announced the closure just before 5:30 a.m. this morning, sharing that crews are currently working to repair the issue.

Drivers affected by this closure can take state Route 3 to Polaris Parkway or Old State Road to state Route 750 to reach interstate 71.

An official with the engineer's office told 10TV that the road will remain closed for most of Tuesday. No injuries have been reported.

It's unclear what caused the gas leak and the exact time it occurred.
