Hyderabad: A 25-year-old cab driver from Hyderabad, Shaik Abdul Khader, suffering from severe metabolic bone disease caused by an undiagnosed parathyroid tumour, which had left him bedridden for a year, was successfully treated at Care Hospitals, Banjara Hills .
The patient’s condition worsened with the development of a terminal-stage brown tumour with infection in his right thumb, causing severe pain, swelling, and functional disability, doctors said.
