Adam Herczeg will be the man in the middle for Ipswich Town's clash with Stoke City tomorrow night. Ross Halls takes a closer look at the referee...
This game will mark the first time the official from Durham has taken charge of a Blues, having only stepped up to the Football League in 2022.
Herczeg, who began refereeing at just 15-years-old, will also be officiating his first Stoke match, having refereed his first Championship fixture in March 2024.
So far this term, he has been in charge of 12 games in all competitions - nine of which were Championship fixtures - handing out 52 yellow cards and one red.
Callum Gough and Alistair Nelson are due to be the assistant referees, with Charles Breakspear the fourth official as Kieran McKenna’s side look to make it back-to-back wins.
