Senior dubbing artist and actor Bhagyalakshmi has stepped down from the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), opposing the organisation’s move to reinstate actor Dileep after the Sessions Court verdict in the assault case. Her decision comes amid discussions within the Malayalam film industry about bringing Dileep back if he applies for re-entry.
Bhagyalakshmi said her resignation was an act of protest, stressing that the legal process is far from over.
