A.J. Brown made fantasy football managers happy again, hauling in six catches for 100 yards for his third straight game hitting the century mark. But the Eagles needed more from their All-Pro wide receiver in Monday’s 22-19 overtime loss to Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium.
Brown had drops in three high-leverage moments — and speaking with reporters postgame, the headline-grabbing receiver owned up to those shortcomings.
“I’m more than capable of making those plays,” Brown said. “Jalen trusts me in those situations. You know, I made some plays. But I wasn’t great when it mattered.”
