Coming across puppies that have been abandoned is always a blow to the heart. Older dogs sometimes stand a chance of finding new families, but the youngest ones face a much harder climb.

Newborn pups depend entirely on someone to feed them, warm them, and keep them alive, so seeing them left with nothing is especially difficult.
