1BRONX, N.Y. – A New York City Department of Education employee was arrested Monday afternoon in the Bronx on charges of forcible touching and sexual abuse, police said.

The arrest took place around 1:58 p.m. within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

Authorities identified the suspect as 60-year-old Kiho Kim, an on-duty city employee at the time of his arrest. Kim is identified as a teacher at the Bronx Design and Construction Academy.

Police did not immediately release details surrounding the alleged incident or whether it occurred during work hours. The nature of the accusations remains under investigation by NYPD detectives assigned to the precinct.
