Some polls show Rep. Jasmine Crockett would defeat state Rep. James Talarico in the Democratic primary, although others predict her losing to three major Republican candidates — incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt in the general election.
