Health Canada is expanding a recall for a number of Oster toaster oven models due to a malfunction with the product's glass French doors that can cause them to close unexpectedly and burn some consumers.
The recall applies to a number of models all experiencing the same malfunction, according to the health agency: TSSTTVFDXL, TSSTTVFDDGDS, TSSTTVFDDG-033, TSSTTVFDXLPP-033 and TSSTTVFDDAF-033.
Consumers can find the model number of the back of the appliance, or on the original packaging.
The health agency first issued a recall on some of the models in September, but expanded it to include an additional model — Model TSSTTVFDDG-033 — yesterday.
Oster says 104,195 affected units were sold in Canada between August 2015 to July 2025.
