A Connecticut woman faces multiple charges after police in Delaware said she pointed a rifle at three children who were playing football in a hotel parking lot in Delaware.
Rachel Dinorscia, 50, of Waterbury, is charged with three counts each of aggravated menacing, carrying a concealed weapon, and one count of carrying a concealed weapon — all felonies, Delaware State Police said.
Police were called to a Hilton in Newark, Delaware, on Friday, Dec. 5, around 8 p.m., to reports of someone pulling a weapon on a group of children, authorities said.
Dinorscia, who was driving a paratransit van, was found in a nearby parking lot. Troopers found a rifle and two other firearms in the vehicle. All of the weapons were seized, police said.
Authorities did not say why she allegedly pointed the gun at the kids.
She was being held on a $23,500 bond at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in New Castle, authorities said.
