Chumash Casino Resort has opened its upgraded Higher Limits Room following a grand opening event that included VIP tours and a reception for guests.

According to a resort spokesman, the redesign nearly doubles the gaming footprint to more than 11,000 square feet and introduces a more contemporary atmosphere for guests seeking an elevated gaming experience.

The game room features 272 slot machines (up from 144), and eight table games, including Blackjack, Spanish 21, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Baccarat. And the Higher Limits Bar doubled its space and seating and now includes 12 bar‑top slot units.
