New Delhi, Dec 9: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday arrested another key conspirator linked to the November Delhi bomb blast, taking the total number of arrests in the case to eight.

The accused, Dr Bilal Naseer Malla of Baramulla (J&K), was apprehended in Delhi. According to the NIA, Bilal was directly involved in the conspiracy behind the Red Fort area blast that killed 11 people and injured several others.

Investigators allege that Bilal knowingly sheltered deceased accused Umar Un Nabi, providing him logistical support and later aiding in the destruction of evidence.

The NIA said it is pursuing multiple leads and working with central and state agencies to uncover the full extent of the terror network.
