Motherwell attacker Tawanda Maswanhise hopes to continue “shocking” himself with his form when he comes back from the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 23-year-old Zimbabwe forward picked up the William Hill Scottish Premiership player of the month award for November, after scoring three times in the month to take his Well tally to 12 so far this season.
Maswanhise, who signed from Leicester in 2024, has helped Jens Berthel Askou’s side to third place in the table, above Rangers on goal difference having played a game more, but he is set to depart on international duty for the AFCON tournament in Morocco, after which he hopes to return to Scotland and carry on his good work.
