Police personnel’s leaves cancelled

Ludhiana (Punjab), December 9, 2025:In a major administrative move, the Ludhiana Police Commissionerate has cancelled all types of leaves for its officers and staff with immediate effect.

The decision has been taken in view of the upcoming Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Elections 2025, to ensure robust security arrangements and maintain law and order during the election period.

According to the official order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Local), Ludhiana, no police personnel will be granted leave until further notice. This step aims to ensure maximum deployment of force across the district for smooth and peaceful conduct of the elections.
