MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police are investigating a sexual assault they said occurred early Monday on the city's south side. Multiple jurisdictions are part of the investigation.

According to police, the assault occurred at around 1:49 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of McDivitt Road.

Police have not provided further information about the assault, including details about the suspect or which other jurisdictions are involved in the investigation.
