“Jeopardy!” champion Philip Joseph “Joey” DeSena has been arrested on two charges of felony secret peeping.

“Jeopardy!” viewers will remember DeSena, 42, for his two victories in November 2024, when he walked away with $44,698. The development engineer returned for the Champions Wildcard Tournament in January , competing for a spot in the Tournament of Champions. He made it to the semifinals before losing to Drew Goins and Jen Feldman.

DeSena was arrested in his home state of North Carolina on Monday, Dec. 1, according to Entertainment Weekly . Authorities accused him of “unlawfully” and “wilfully” installing a secret camera in a bathroom to capture the image of another person without their consent.
