JACKSONVILLE – He's good and getting better.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is playing with confidence and efficiency, making key plays at times – and wide receiver Tim Patrick made clear early this week there's a reason the Jaguars' passing offense is improving.

"Honestly, Trevor," he said with a laugh.

Patrick, speaking in the wake of a 36-19 victory over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday , was reiterating a point players made following Lawrence's 244-yard, 2-touchdown performance in the fifth-year veteran's second consecutive game without a turnover.
