WASHINGTON (CBS19 NEWS) -- An area locality has received some federal funding that it can use to address its emergency response needs.

U.S. Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine recently announced more than $20 million in funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency through the Fire Grants and Safety Act.
