LSU redshirt junior linebacker Harold Perkins accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl, the game announced Tuesday morning, another indication that he will enter the 2026 NFL Draft.

Perkins has one more year of eligibility after suffering a torn ACL four games into the 2024 season. However, he was also honored on LSU’s senior night last month.

Though players can back out of postseason showcases after accepting an invitation, they cannot return to school if they will play in the game. Perkins has not formally announced his plans as of Tuesday.

Often playing the Star position, a hybrid linebacker/safety role, Perkins has recorded 56 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, three interceptions, one forced fumble and seven quarterback hurries this season.
