Joao Fonseca locked horns with Carlos Alcaraz for the first time in his career. The match, however, was an unofficial one as they met in the Miami Invitational, an exhibition event where, apart from Alcaraz and Fonseca, Jessica Pegula and Amanda Anisimova also featured.
The match between Fonseca and Alcaraz was a tight encounter, but in the end, the result ended in the six-time Grand Slam champion’s favor. Following the match, Alcaraz was asked his opinion regarding his and Fonseca’s hairstyle.
