BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Prosecutor's Office confirmed 20-year-old Rease Pence was found guilty of First Degree Murder, Carrying A Concealed Weapon, Receiving and Concealing a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and a Felony Firearm Offense.

This is in connection with the deadly shooting of a 14-year-old at Arbor Trails Apartments in May 2022.

Pence is already serving a 122.5-year sentence for a double-homicide in South Bend from January 2022.

Pence's sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. Share
