Dillon Dube has signed a professional tryout deal with the St. Louis Blues‘ AHL affiliate in Springfield, the NHL team announced on Wednesday.
The signing means all of the five players acquitted of sexual assault in the high-profile trial of members of Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team have resumed their careers.
In a release, the Blues said Dube will report to Springfield after he receives his work visa.
Dube, 27, spent 2024-25 with the KHL’s Dinamo Minsk in Belarus.
Frank Seravalli was the first to report the signing.
Goaltender Carter Hart signed with the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights in mid-October just after the window opened for the players to be eligible for new contracts.
