Some Rogers customers have noticed a price increase on their most recent phone bill.
A reader has contacted us and there’s a post on Reddit with customers complaining about the $4 price hike.
However, this isn’t an unusual occurrence, and could potentially be part of an earlier price increase. Last month we reported that some Rogers’ sub-brand Fido had a price increase that some customers started to see on their bills. Sometimes a carrier price hike could start in June, but you won’t see it affect your bill until October, as these are often rolled out in stages to customers throughout the country, or a province.
That being said, if you’re noticing the $4-$5 increase on your bill you’re not alone. We’ve reached out to Rogers for a statement and the company spokesperson replied:
