Somerset-Pulaski County Special Response Team/Hazmat is undergoing a reorganization according to government officials. This reorganization prompted a resolution that was passed at Somerset City Council Monday night in which the city withdrew from a 2017 agreement concerning SRT.

According to Somerset City Attorney John Adams, there is no change in the type of emergency services that will be available during a hazardous chemical event.
