Locust Cider is expected to close its Fort Collins taproom sometime toward the end of the year, founder Jason Spears told the Coloradoan, marking the latest update in the cidery’s companywide downsizing.

The decision just the Fort Collins location, Spears said, but part of a broader pullback after the company’s 2019 taproom expansion and the financial strain that followed.
