ANN ARBOR — Perhaps it’s time to bring the first-place Pistons to Crisler Center. College teams haven’t provided much of a challenge for mighty Michigan.
The second-ranked Wolverines improved to 9-0 with Tuesday’s 89-61 win over visiting Villanova.
Michigan won by at least 25 for the sixth straight game and led by at least 20 (in this case 30) for the fourth consecutive game.
Michigan already owns a win over a team from every power-conference: ACC (Wake Forest), Big 12 (TCU), SEC (Auburn), Big Ten (Rutgers), and Big East (Villanova).
Michigan scored 46 points in the paint compared to Villanova’s 10. Point guard Elliot Cadeau was fantastic and finished with 18 points and four assists.
