The teaser of Alpha was unveiled by Lahari Velu at MMB Legacy on Saturday. Hemanth Kumar from Malur debuts as a hero with this movie supported by Anand Kumar under the LA Productions banner. Vijay, known for Geetha and Gurudeva Hoysala, is the director. The movie has the tagline - Men Love Vengeance.

Vijay said Hemanth was introduced to him by dialogue writer Masti. “I appreciate Hemanth Kumar’s passion for movies. He evinced interest in making a movie if I had a good script. He said that he does not want to act in a love story. I narrated the script of Alpha to him and he liked it. Alpha went on floors in March 2025 and its shooting is in the final stages,” said Vijay.
