Jasprit Bumrah reached several milestones during the first T20I against South Africa at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, completing 100 wickets in the format. Bumrah returned to action after being rested for the ODI series and became only the second Indian bowler, after Arshdeep Singh, to cross the 100-wicket mark in T20Is. He reached the landmark in his third over by dismissing Dewald Brevis for 22. In the same over, he also removed Keshav Maharaj. The fast bowler now has 101 wickets from 81 T20I matches, with an average of 18.11.
