Less than a decade after then-Governor Larry Hogan initiated a non-partisan process to redraw Maryland’s congressional districts, Gov. Wes Moore has launched a mid-cycle commission of his own. Unlike Hogan, he’s not pursuing a strategy that seeks fair and representative districts. Instead, he’s seeking to redraw maps to monopolize party control while disenfranchising Maryland voters.

Yet, it’s far worse than that. Gov. Moore is actually running roughshod over his oath to Marylanders and putting his own personal ambitions ahead of his constituents’ interests.
