ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A Florissant man pleaded guilty Tuesday to a February 2024 shooting in The Grove.

Andre T. Wilson, 37, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

On Feb. 25, 2024, prosecutors say Wilson opened fire in front of an apartment complex in the 4500 block of Swan Avenue .

Reports from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police at the time stated two victims, a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, were walking to their car in the 4500 block of Swan in The Grove when they mistook their vehicle for Wilson’s. Wilson opened fire, hitting the man five times, police said.
