CHEBOYGAN – Tuesday night was special in more ways than one for Cheboygan High School athletics .

First, Cheboygan honored longtime basketball coach Scott Hancock for 50 years in the program by holding a ceremony and naming the high school gymnasium floor “Scott Hancock Court.”

Next, the Chiefs went out and earned an impressive 67-43 victory over longtime rival Sault Ste. Marie.
