A person’s body was found in a Lancaster County home on Tuesday after an early morning shots-fired incident, according to police.

Around 1:15 a.m., several vehicles and one home on the 200 block of Walnut Street were damaged by gunfire, Columbia Borough police said.

Just before 10:15 a.m., police were dispatched to the same area for a possible overdose, where they found a deceased male inside a home.

An investigation determined that he was involved in the shots-fired incident about nine hours earlier.

Police did not release the male’s name, age, address or cause of death. Further details about the death were not immediately available.
