SPOKANE, Wash. -- Boxes and packages are arriving on doorsteps much more often this time of year with pretty holiday paper, ribbons, and bows.
The city of Spokane wants to remind you about what's on the recycling "Naughty and Nice" list.
When getting rid of holiday waste, make sure to recycle holiday cards, cardboard tubes from wrapping paper, the wrapping paper itself, and shipping boxes.
Items that go in the trash include bows, ribbons, metallic foil, cellophane, string lights, tinsel, tissue paper, and all non-paper packaging.
