The Venice Canals will light up Sunday, Dec. 14, for the 44th Annual Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade, a beloved tradition dating back to 1983 that draws residents and visitors to the historic neighborhood’s waterways.
Organized by the Venice Canals Association, the free event kicks off with boats gathering at 3:30 p.m. and the parade officially beginning at 4 p.m. The route starts at Grand and Carroll Canals, proceeds north along Carroll Canal, east on Linnie, north on Howland, east on Sherman, and finishes back on Grand Canal.
