MADISON, Wis. --- Vel Phillips Memorial has high hopes for the 2025-2026 boys' basketball season, and won a nailbiter against Sun Prairie West, 57-56 on Tuesday evening.

Zavion Goudeau, a 6-3 junior, and his Prairie Wolves didn't make it easy, Goudeau threw down a vicious dunk, but his squad fell short, dropping to 0-3 on the season.
