In a serious accident on Wednesday morning near Mayo Road, four individuals were injured when a car lost control and crashed. The vehicle first collided with a lamp post before striking two sanitation workers, according to local police.

Both occupants of the car, along with the injured workers, have been admitted to SSKM hospital for urgent medical care. The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed as authorities investigate the matter further.

Police officers are exploring whether a technical malfunction or driver's error led to the crash. The high-end vehicle, notably damaged, is currently in police custody pending examination. A case has been lodged at the Hastings Police Station as inquiries continue.
