Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews will begin relocating a gas line along Franklin Road in Cranberry Township as part of an ongoing safety improvement project in the corridor.
Flagging operations and single-lane closures are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, between the Route 228 and Hillmont Drive intersections, PennDOT said.
The work is one piece of a four-year effort to widen shoulders, add edge-line rumble strips and improve sight distance on Franklin Road.
The $19.1 million project, contracted to the Glenn O. Hawbaker firm of State College, is slated for completion in early November 2027.
