CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Browns center Ethan Pocic was placed on injured reserve for the season on Tuesday after undergoing surgery to repair his torn Achilles.
In addition, running back Jerome Ford was placed on IR for the final four games of the season after suffering a shoulder injury during Sunday’s 31-29 loss to the Titans.
Ford, who played 13 snaps, didn’t run the ball, but caught 2 of 3 targets for 10 yards. He also returned five kickoffs for 113 yards, including a long of 32. Ford had replaced Malachi Corley on kickoff returns after Corley fielded a kickoff at the Browns’ 5 and ran out of bounds during a critical point in last week’s 26-8 loss to the 49ers.
