The owners of Birch by Romeo Lane in Goa, where 25 people died in a fire caused by fireworks on December 6, ran 42 shell companies under the guise of their restaurant empire, Times Now reported.

As per the report, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra were directors in all the companies, which were all registered at a single address in north-west Delhi. All companies were opened in last two years.

The owners, brothers Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, co-owners of the ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub in Arpora, are now the subjects of an Interpol Blue Corner notice. Authorities believe the Delhi-based businessmen fled to Phuket, Thailand, just hours after the deadly blaze.
