The Sacramento Police Department announced it is opening a new bike unit office in partnership with Downtown Commons. Located at 320 K Street, the office is expected to be fully operational by early 2026 and will serve as a dedicated deployment point for bike officers. Sac PD and DOCO leaders say the goal is to improve safety in the downtown area amid concerns about increased crime.
